Areas of Specialism
I am experienced in working with people to enable them
to find ways of coping with life's losses such as death, redundancy,
relationship endings, illness, loss of mobility retirement and loss of
environment/culture.
Personal Approach My approach to counselling is an existential
person-focused that is based upon sympathetic understanding, positive regard of
what makes us human.
I believe all human beings have the resources within
themselves for self-understanding.
The therapeutic process of counselling can help in
accessing those inner resources with a view towards becoming happier and more
whole human beings.
My life is informed by my spiritual practice as a
Buddhist.
